How to use the countdown calculator

- (Optional) Enter your Target time. If you leave it blank, the calculator uses 00:00 on the target date.
- Optionally add a Countdown name (for example, “Project deadline”).
- Choose a Display option:
- Days + time (classic countdown)
- Totals (total hours/minutes/seconds remaining)
- The countdown starts and updates automatically. Click Reset to start again.
What the results mean
- Days / Hours / Minutes / Seconds: A classic countdown format that’s easy to read at a glance.
- Totals: Useful for planning (e.g., “How many hours until…”), especially for shorter windows.
Time zone note: The countdown uses your device’s local time zone. If your countdown is close to a Daylight Saving Time change, hour totals can differ from a simple “days × 24” assumption.
